פַּלְטֵרII m. (πωλητήρ, πωλητήριον) shop-keeper, esp. seller of bakers ware; shop, esp. bakery-shop. Ab. Zar.IV, 9 (55b) מוליכין עמו פת לפ׳ you may carry your own bread with his (the non-observant bakers) to the shop-keeper. Dem. V, 4 הלוקח מן הפ׳וכ׳ he who buys bread at the shop (which contains bread of different batches) must give tithes of each form separately, contrad. to מנפול.
